"Eddie the Bird" comes to Angry Birds as the game honors Iron Maiden for Halloween

This Halloween season, Rovio Entertainment has teamed up with Iron Maiden to bring "Eddie the Bird" to Angry Birds Evolutions.

Beginning October 18th during a two-week special character event, Eddie the Head will be transformed into an Angry Bird that players can unlock and keep in their game. Four different versions of Eddie have been created based on his looks from the albums Killers, Powerslave, Somewhere in Time and The Book of Souls. Along with the four Eddie the Bird characters, the game will be turned into a Halloween-themed heavy metal oasis filled with tributes to Eddie, Iron Maiden and the heavy metal universe. For fans of Iron Maiden’s own mobile RPG, Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast, you can expect Eddie the Bird to make his way into the game next year.
