Now that gender-bending Twisted Sister have ended their touring career, many fans were left wondering what would be next for frontman Dee Snider. Aside from his solo album, We Are The Ones, it looks like Snider will be teaming up with Hatebreed and Jasta frontman Jamey Jasta on a new project in the near future.
Jasta has talked about the project on his podcast, The Jasta Show, recently, and now both Jasta and Snider have discussed the project via social media. If those social media messages hold any truth, it looks like former Killswitch Engage and current Light The Torch frontman Howard Jones may be involved as well.
After a fan expressed anticipation over the project, Snider responded by saying, "Jamey Jasta just sent me another killer track." on his Twitter page. Jasta then got in on it, commenting "Goin in today w/ Howard Jones for a writing session! HARD! Gotta get all the #Deehards pumped 4 this! Yes I just made that fan club name up!"
Jones is not a surprising choice to join the lineup, as he and Jasta recently collaborated on the song "Chasing Demons", available on Jasta's Bandcamp page. The two musicians also spent the better part of 2016 on the road together, touring with their respective bands.
With Jasta and Snider teaming up, it's an interesting pair to say the least, and with Howard thrown in, I'm very curious to see how this project pans out. Looks like we'll see in 2018.
